Marcelo Santos, better known by his stage name Xis (São Paulo, November 24, 1972), is a Brazilian rapper. Born in Vila Formosa and raised in Itaquera, a neighborhood on the east side of São Paulo, the son of a former street sweeper and a Febem employee. He took the stage for the first time in 1986 at a school festival. He started his music career in the late 1980s.
